Those heading to Rankin Bottoms for the Reddish Egret may also want
to stop at Dutch Bottoms where US Hwy 25E crosses and runs alongside
Douglas Lake (following James' directions). This area is often good
for terns, waders, waterfowl, shorebirds, Osprey, and Bald Eagles
this time of year.
