Finally, a new species at my feeders this winter season at my home in Hampton
(Carter Co.) TN! A Red-breasted Nuthatch made frequent visits this afternoon,
alternating between a peanut butter suet block and a wire mesh feeders filled
with unsalted peanuts.
In general terms, I had higher numbers of Northern Cardinals, Dark-eyed
Juncos and White-throated Sparrows at the feeders during the icy mix of snow
and
rain early on Saturday. There was never any significant accumulation.

Hampton, TN
