[TN-Bird] Rankin Bottoms - 8/23/11

Rankin Bottoms, Cocke county, Tuesday, 8/23/11, 4-7PM,  by canoe
Lake elevation 984.4 ft.

After my camera had failed on 2 previous trips, i returned with a backup.  
Total shorebird numbers were down by 75% from 8/22,  with many feathers on the 
water and smaller birds acting skittish - peregrine attack?  Typical waterfowl, 
egret, heron, cormorant, & osprey numbers, otherwise,
