[TN-Bird] Radnor Lake NTOS Wednesday morning walk

Radnor Lake State Natural Area
Nashville-Davidson County, TN

Twenty two birders joined the Nashville Chapter TOS  Wednesday morning walk
around Radnor Lake this morning. We observed a total of 46 species with
significant numbers of warblers and a stunning Baltimore Oriole that glowed
in the morning sunlight.

 

Here is the breakdown:

Ruby-throated Hummingbird 4

Eastern Wood-Pewee 4

Eastern Phoebe 1

Great Crested Flycatcher 1

Undetermined Empidonax Flycatcher 1

White-eyed Vireo 2

Yellow-throated Vireo 1

Blue Jay 15

American Crow 13

Northern Rough-winged Swallow 1

Carolina Chickadee 11

Tufted Titmouse 9

White-breasted Nuthatch 3

Carolina Wren 19

Eastern Bluebird 1

Swainson's Thrush 2

American Robin 3

Gray Catbird 4

Cedar Waxwing 15

Tennessee Warbler 2

Northern Parula 2

Chestnut-sided Warbler 7

Magnolia Warbler 14

Black-throated Green Warbler 9

The next walk is scheduled for Wednesday 24 September. We meet at 7:30am in
