I just spent an enjoyable morning at Radnor Lake in Nashville (Davidson Co.). Highlights were 7 PHILADELPHIA VIREOS, 2 WARBLING VIREOS, a BREWSTER'S WARBLER and a male WILSON'S WARBLER. Most of the activity was along the spillway. The surprise of the morning (to me anyway) was the complete absence of Tennessee Warblers, which were abundant last weekend. Here are the neotropical migrants: Chimney Swift - 4 Ruby-throated Hummingbird - 3 Eastern Wood-Pewee - 4 Northern Rough-winged Swallow - 1 Swainson's Thrush - 14 White-eyed Vireo - 3 Warbling Vireo - 2 Philadelphia Vireo - 7 Blue-winged Warbler - 2 Brewster's Warbler - 1 Northern Parula - 1 Chestnut-sided Warbler - 1 Magnolia Warbler - 5 Black-throated Green Warbler - 5 Bay-breasted Warbler - 1 Black-and-White Warbler - 6 American Redstart - 1 Ovenbird - 1 Common Yellowthroat - 1 Wilson's Warbler - 1 Summer Tanager - 1 Rose-breasted Grosbeak - 2 Back at home, I still have a decent number of hummingbirds at my feeders.
