[TN-Bird] RFI: New Sibley Guide Cover Materials

April 17, 2003:

I had an opportunity to briefly examine the new Sibley Eastern and Western
Field guides this weekend at KOS.  I am curious to know if there is any
possibility that these books will be offered in a paper back or perhaps a
"soft cloth back" as an alternative to the current cover which is like the
larger guide.  I am fond neither of that cover material nor the binding
quality and would prefer to wait if a true soft cover is going to be
available.
