[TN-Bird] Purple Martin NW-TN

I sometimes get early male Purple Martins in Memphis around the middle of 
February, imagine my surprise when one spun around me Saturday, Feb. 15, near 
Cates, TN just a few miles south of the KY line in Lake Co.

Even more surprising was, when I told Nancy Moore about it, she related the 
following. When they first opened Back Yard Birds B&B at Reelfoot some years 
back, they put up a Purple Martin house and stood back to admire it, a male 
Purple Martin suddenly appeared out of nowhere to inspect it. The surprise 
was it was FEB. 15 !!

I'll check some sites here at Memphis tomorrow......
