LouAnn Partington, a local wildlife rehabilitator and member of the
Highland Rim Chapter of TOS, is currently caring for a Purple
Gallinule, found yesterday (5/5) off Hwy 50 in Franklin County, near
Tims Ford Lake.

She said it does not appear to have any broken bones but is very
underweight and was unable to stand or fly when she received it.
However, it did make some weight gain overnight.

She sent me a picture, if anyone would like to see it.
