Went home for lunch and found lots of activity at the feeders
in the snow flurries. Had one female/immature Purple Finch,
first of the season for me. The Juncos finally showed up
this past weekend and I've had one or two ever since; today
there were up to a dozen. Perhaps most unexpected was a Song
Sparrow... they're downright rare in the neighborhood. Need
to plant more cover this spring.
