[TN-Bird] Preisident's message HELP

TN-Birders:

Virginia Reynolds flashed me a quick e-mail, screaming "help" just as soon
as she realized she had sent her "Revised president's message" to the
TN-Birds list intead of a personal e-mail to our Tennessee Ornithological
Society "Warbler" editor Theresa Graham.

It would make any one of us feel that "rush of panic" that comes when you
know you have sent something to the list you didn't intend.

The downside is that this will take away some of the "freshness" of her
message when you read your "Warbler" for those of you who are TOS members
and subscribe to TN-Birds.  It also robs the news value for Theresa, who
works really hard to get out our Tennessee Ornithological Society state
newletter.  She does a really great job.

We can all feel for the both of them.

Perhaps we can take a little heart in the fact that the President's Message
to TOS gives many of you non-TOS members a sneak look at what we are about
in TOS and more about who we are.  TOS owns this list.  We'd love to have
you join TOS.  We'd welcome you to come see us all face-to-face and enjoy
many of the really wonderful, fun, fellowship, good birding and valuable
benefits of TOS.

Next time you see Virginia, give her a hug and tell her: "It could always be
worse."  We love you Virginia !  Here's a kiss  ;-)(    Hope it makes us all
feel better.  Stuff happens.
