[tn-bird] Re: Pine warbler at the suet

I have had Pine Warblers eating suet (?) from my feeders for years. I have
never thought about insects, but this is surely possible, especially with the
warm weather we are having lately. There was a Pine Warbler eating suet (?) all
day in my backyard yesterday. Unfortunately, he had to share space with the
pesty Starlings who have "found" my yard in the last few days.

My nextdoor neighbors have two Red-Shouldered Hawks that stay in the trees
around their house. I am not sure, but I think they may be nesting in a tall
pine tree in their backyard. They have a HUGE beast of a dog, so I don't dare
go past our fence to look. Hopefully, I will get to see some young hawks this
spring!

Subject: [tn-bird] Pine warbler at the suet

I have had Pine warblers stop by my feeders before, but they always seemed
to have an attitude of "so what's all the excitement about?". On Saturday
I had one eating at a "store-bought" suet block! Perhaps there were
insects?
