I have a couple of Fox Sparrows and a Pine Warbler coming to my feeders over
the last couple of days. They spend most of their time foraging on the
ground, but the Warbler is checking out some suet and safflower seeds. I also
have
a pretty regular Red-breasted Nuthatch at the feeders.
I've never had a Pine Warbler at the feeders before and wasn't sure what it
was to begin with. After photographing it and checking the guide books, I was
able to make the ID. How common is this bird in our area this time of year?
