Stan Wallace and I birded Kingston Steam Plant yesterday afternoon from
about 6-8PM. The three Red-Necked Phalaropes were still in the upper
right pond. Carol Golbert was also there and thought there may have
been another two in a different location.
Also spotted:
Short Billed Dowitchers - 8
Caspian Terns (squawking up a storm) - 7
Least Sandpipers - several
Killdeer
Semipalmated Plover - 1
Lesser Yellowlegs - 1, maybe 2
Blue Grosbeak - 1
Canada Geese - 20+
