Hi folks,
I needed to pick Tracey up at school on our way home for the
holidays, and her school is just a few miles from Pellisippi Comm
Coll, (West Knox County, just beyond the north terminus of I-140) so
I dropped by there on the way to get her. No geese at all. not a
one. The flock of about 35 Killdeer was a weak consolation.
So I got back on the road to go to get her. And I saw 2 flocks of
about 30 geese each heading in the direction of the college! And
there was a white goose in each flock! I turned around and went
back, and there were 27 Canada Geese with one Ross's Goose. I don't
know where the other flock went, and I never saw the Greater
White-fronted that I was *really* hoping for. But ROGO is nice,
indeed.
Now we're stuck in Maryland with a broken down car. At least it was
near family...
Happy holidays,
Charlie
