[TN-Bird] Re: Painted Bunting in Knox County

I had to leave before Marcia and Virginia so I guess I was the
'sacrificial birder'.  Glad they got to see and photograph the bird.

The interesting part is that this is likely the same bird that was
here last winter.  The home where this bird is visiting the feeders
is about 1500 ft 'as the bunting flies' from the home where a male
Painted Bunting was photographed at a feeder on 13 Jan 2007.  Marcia
told me about this years' sighting on Friday but I didn't look to
see where last years' sighting was from until tonight (I had thought
it was further west in town).  That report was accepted by the
TN Bird Records Committee with a vote of 5-1 in 2007.
