This species has been seen and photographed over 4 different times at two
locations in west TN and has probably been overlooked over the years. One bird
was seen by many over a month long visit at TVA Lake in Ensley Bottoms and on
two occasions a pair has been photographed, once at Ensley and Mike Todd had
a pair on the TN RV near Paris Landing on Eagle Creek.

Look at all dark Mallard types and you may get lucky!! Beware of Black Ducks
that sometimes get wounded and stay south through a summer season.

Good Birding !!!
