Shelby Farms
Shelby Co. TN
The morning ride through Shelby Farms produced a calling Olive-sided
Flycatcher north of the senior citizen garden plots. The bird called for
libations on two occasions and sallied out for snacks. Always a welcomed bird
on any day.
After work I tried again for a Mourning Warbler and I only have this
afternoon for one last try before leaving town. I know this high water has
concentrated these hard to find birds up against the bluffs but I just have
not found the right place. I again had Wilson's Warbler and Canada by alas no
Mourning. I guess I should have brought in Phillip "The Gun" Casteel from
Nashville.
