[TN-Bird] Nuthatch mystery

The snow has attracted mobs to the feeders yesterday and this morning.  
Conspicuous absentees are both the White-breasted and Red-breasted Nuthatch.  
Does 
anyone know of their behavior in this cold weather?  Ralph Brinkhurst,  
Lebanon, Wilson Co.
