[TN-Bird] North Cumberland Wildlife Management Area - Royal Blue Unit (Campbell County)

Friday 6/5/09 (Sorry for the delay, but life often gets in the way of placing 
posts).
Decided to use a day of vacation to get in some bird photography yesterday... 
my thanks go out to Ron Hoff for recommending that I go up to Cross Mountain to 
find warblers.  Conditions were poor for photography, but I since I had already 
taken the day off I stuck it out regardless of the thick-moist-fog that covered 
the mountain and persisted from 6:30 AM until about 3 PM.  Despite the 
conditions I managed to get my best shots to date of the Chestnut-sided Warbler 
and of the Ovenbird.  I'm not going to list all of the birds I saw, but here 
are the birding highlights:
Chestnut-sided Warbler - 3Hooded Warbler - 4Black-Throated Green Warbler - 
1Ovenbird - 8+Black & White Warbler - 4American Redstart - 3Rose-breasted 
Grosbeak - 1Indigo Bunting - 7Eastern Towhee - 5Brown Thrasher - 1
Also heard several Cerulean Warblers.
