[TN-Bird] Norris Scoters - Tues. 11/18

I braved the cold to see the Scoters this morning below Norris Dam (Anderson
Co.) at the weir around 8:45 am. I saw the white secondaries on the
WHITE-WINGED SCOTER when it preened and when it and the SURF SCOTER both flew
up-river to just past Songbird Trail. I was afraid I'd caused them to fly even
though I tried to stay hidden but thankfully they had returned to the weir when
I came back through around 10:00. These are life-birds for me. The 2 female
RING-NECKED DUCKS were in the area as well. At the north end of Songbird/Edge
Path Trail I saw 2 WINTER WRENS and a first-of-season RED-BREASTED NUTHATCH.
