The Rankin Festival, scheduled for 9/6/03 at Rankin Bottoms in Cocke County, 
has been cancelled.  The festival sponsors and organizers were faced with 
property use and liability problems which couldn't be resolved without more 
time and expense.  
The birds will be there anyway.  Still the main attraction.
