[TN-Bird] Nikon Fieldscope 50ED

Morristown, Hamblen County
November 18, 2008

On Saturday, November 15, I attended a demonstration of Nikon optics at Wild
Birds Unlimited in Knoxville.

One spotting scope that caught my eye was the Nikon Fieldscope 50ED Spotting
Scope. It is very lightweight, moderately priced and appeared to have good
power (for a small scope) as well as clear images. But before I spend the
money, I would be interested in knowing if anyone on TN-Birds owns this
particular scope or knows someone who does. I would also be interested in
information on any other small spotting scope. Any information you would be
willing to share I would be most grateful for. You may respond to me at
vgoolsby@xxxxxxxxxx

Thank you.
