[TN-Bird] Nashville TOS Program, December 20, 2007

The Nashville Chapter of the Tennessee Ornithological Society will have its
regular monthly meeting at Radnor Lake Visitors Center in Nashville on December
20, 2007, beginning at 7:15 p.m. The program will be by Alice Klingshirm, who
will share her outstanding photographic skills in her presentation, as
summarized below:

"Birds and Scenic Views of New Mexico" will be the
topic of a slide and video presentation by Alice
Klingshirn. The Bosque del Apache Wildlife Refuge
is one of the most beautiful national wildlife
refuges in the U.S. It is the major wintering area for
thousands of sandhill cranes, snow geese and many
species of ducks. Sunrise and sunset provide
spectacular views of these birds as they move
between roosting and feeding areas. The White
Sands National Monument covers almost 300 square
miles of the world's largest wind-blown gypsum
dunes, challenging survival of the many species of
animals and plants that live there."

We invite everyone to attend.
