[TN-Bird] NTOS field trip to Percy Priest Lake, Saturday Feb. 21

Saturday, February 21 - Percy Priest Lake
Richard Connors will lead our group to various sites around Percy
Priest Lake including the dam, Fall Creek for Bonaparte's Gulls, Lamar Hill,
Bryant Grove, and Long Hunter State Park, where a large group of Hooded
Mergansers winter at Couchville Lake. We'll also be searching for eagles,
loons,
grebes, other waterfowl, and wintering sparrows. Dress warmly and bring your
scope. The trip will last until mid-afternoon, so bring along a lunch and
we'll stop somewhere. We'll meet at 7:30 at the Adventure Science Center
lower parking lot at 800 Fort Negley Blvd. 37203 and carpool from there. For
those wanting to meet us at the lake, you can join the group at the upper
parking lot of the dam at 8:00. All are welcome.
