[TN-Bird] NTOS Radnor Lake field trip this Saturday, Dec. 22

NTOS will have a field trip this Saturday, Dec. 22 to Radnor Lake to view
and study the waterfowl. Several species of dabblers and divers can be
expected, along with some wintering passerines, perhaps like the 12 Pine
Siskins
seen there on the CBC this past Saturday. There were 11 waterfowl species,
including Canvasback and Redhead, and about 300 individuals on the lake
Saturday,
so there should be lots to look through. Since most of the ducks usually
tend to be towards the east end of the lake, we'll meet at the East Parking
Lot
on Otter Creek Rd. (off of Franklin Pk.) at 8:00 A.M. Bring a scope if you
have one. We'll walk the road and back to the parking lot. This will just
be a morning trip. Take a break from your last minute Christmas preparations
and come enjoy the loveliness of the Gadwalls. All are welcome.

Nashville, TN
