[TN-Bird] N. Harriers, Coffee Co. field trip

Sat. 1/20 Coffee Co. TN

A late afternoon field trip to TWRA's Bark Camp Barrens in Coffee Co. turned
up 5 Northern Harriers in one field but the Short-eared Owls seen there last
week were a no-show. The harrier group consisted of 4 females and one male.
Last week's trip had as many as 15 Am. Woodcock in one area, but only 2 were
seen/heard this trip. Threatening and cold weather this trip must have kept
activity down. We did enjoy distant dueting Great Horned Owls while we waited
in the growing dark.
