[TN-Bird] Mourning at Radnor / Photos

I spent a couple of hours this morning at Radnor Lake S.P. (Davidson Co.).
The highlight was a nice male Mourning Warbler singing intermittently and
foraging back and forth across the trail at the bench near the long bridge.
I spent about 30 minutes following it around to try for a photo, but didn't
manage a single shot.

Other highlights included:

17 species of warbler:

3 Blue-winged

2 Tennessee

2 Nashville

2 Northern Parula

3 Chestnut-sided

1 Cape May

25+ Yellow-rumped

6 Black-throated Greens

1 Yellow-throated

15+ Palm

3 Blackpoll

2 Prothonotary

1 Ovenbird

2 Lousiana Waterthrush

1 Kentucky

1 Mourning

1 Hooded

Also of note were 4 Blue-headed Vireos (a decent number for this late in the
season here) and a Philadelphia that posed nicely for some photos (see
below). I was surprised that I did not see or here any tanagers or orioles,
and only a few thrushes (all Swainson's).

Back at the house, the Rose-breasted Grospigs were swarming the trey feeder.
So far my high count on the feeder at one time is 5 today; last year I
peaked at 6.

I have posted a few pics from today in two places:

http://csloan.smugmug.com/

http://www.pbase.com/csloan

In each case the gallery is titled with today's date. I am seriously
considering moving all of my pics from PBase to SmugMug for a variety of
reasons, not the least of which is SmugMug's support for geotagging, which I
plan to start doing with all my photos. If you are bored and happen to
check out both versions of the gallery, I'd appreciate any opinions as to
which one is a better viewer experience.

Regards,

Chris Sloan
