[TN-Bird] Mink, Great Egret at Radnor Lake, Davidson Co.

11-28-06
Radnor Lake
Davidson Co.
I got my lifer Mink this morning at Radnor Lake as it came out of the water
and ran along the shoreline. I saw it from the eastern part of the Lake Trail.
This is the same area where you can look across the water to the northern
shore and see the Great Egret, which is still there. Also seen were 2 Winter
Wrens, 2 Golden-crowned Kinglets, and 3 Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers.

More Gadwalls and Ring-necked Ducks have arrived since last week, along with
one American Wigeon. A big flock of Waxwings continues to feed at the east
end along the road by the water.
