[TN-Bird] Migrants and Survival of the Fattest

We too have had Summer and Scarlet Tanagers and a Baltimore Oriole. The Ruby
Throated Hummingbirds get more and more abundant. They are buzzing the other
birds and even a rabbit! And what about "Survival of the Fattest"? They seem
to use up so much energy fighting each other, it must take them more time to
bulk up. I suppose where there are natural food sources they are spread
around more than the two or three (or more) feeders we provide, so they are
"defending" just a few sources. Ralph and Kay Brinkhurst Lebanon, Wilson Co.
