Hi Birders:
Hawks continue to move by the Mendota Tower on Clinch Mountain (Northwest
corner of Washington County, VA) in relative good numbers. Bob Quillen and Bob
Riggs manned the post on 9/26. Bob Riggs, Ron Harrington and Doris Burnette of
Manhattan, KS, braved driving rain, hail, and dangerous lightening to get in a
couple hours of observation on Saturday, 9/27. Here are the totals as of
