[TN-Bird] Memphis Chapter of TOS Weds Hike Report

Location: TN 1 Cvll, Peterson Lake Nature Center
Observation date: 10/8/08
Notes: Memphis Chapter of TOS held it's last scheduled Weds hike of the
year at Collierville's Peterson Lake Nature Center Boardwalk. The weather
was overcast and ended in a light drizzle. 10 birders hiked the 1.5 mile
boardwalk trail meandering through the bottomland hardwood forest leading to
the Wolf River and back. The heavy rains received the night and day before
put a damper on things but we did pull out 29 species on the hike and an
additional 2 species on exiting the park.
