Wednesday, Sept 25, the Memphis Chapter held its regular Wednesday field trip
to Shelby Forest State park. We extended our range to Eagle Lake WMA. 8
observers. Cloudy and cool. 75 species in both locations. Highlights were
an osprey and sharpshin hawk at Eagle Lake and high numbers of grey catbirds
and red-headed woodpeckers.
