[TN-Bird] Maury Co: Loggerhead Shrike

I found a Loggerhead Shrike this morning (5/29/07) along Lieper's
Creek Road in extreme northern Maury County, near the community of
McKnight. Lieper's Creek Road Branches off of Highway 7 in the
community of Fly, 2 miles east of the Natchez Trace Parkway (it goes
left if you are coming from the Trace, just past the store, creek,
and Sawmill). The bird was on wires right along the road 2 miles
farther on from this junction. DeLorme p.36-B2, GPS N35d47.7m,
W87d07.6m. I thought this bird might be of interest to locals, as
Shrikes are pretty scarce in this area.
