[TN-Bird] Male ruby-throated

Good Afternoon,
Exactly at noon, a handsome male ruby-throated hummingbird appeared at my
feeder in the Charlotte Park section of West Nashville. After taking several
good sips, he flew off to the South, probably to continue on his migration. I
don't get them here until after-nesting migration. Sometimes they rest for a
while and make several trips to the feeder, but I think this one was a NASCAR
member who made a quick "pit stop" to refuel, then got back on the track to
rush
to his finish line for the season.
The male that stopped by on July 12, when the feeder was "stale," did not
return.
