Hello Birders,
In case you are interested, go to the link below to read a story which the
NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC has put out about the movie, THE MARCH OF THE PENGUINS,
that
everyone is chattering about. All of my non-birdwatching friends have told
me it is a "must see." There was something on PBS about these penguins
"walking 70 miles to mate" some years ago which is what seems to have the
non-birders
freaking out. I guess they just don't understand that birds have habitats
where they are "at home" and have their families. Everything about the emperor
penguin that is mentioned in this article was covered on the program I saw
several years ago.
