[TN-Bird] Lower Hatchie NWR

Dick Preston and I spent about 2.5 hours birding the Lower Hatchie NWR 
(Lauderdale County; confluence of Hatchie and Ole Man River).  In a pond just 
next 
to the newly constructed observation deck, we observed 2 pied-billed grebes 
working on a nest.  Minutes later we noticed another grebe, presumably a female 
leading 3 baby grebes across the pond.  At the same time, our attention was 
drawn back to the nest area by an altercation between the original pair; one 
chasing the other all over the pond.  The social dynamics of this situation 
must 
be really juicy.
