[TN-Bird] Long-tailed Jaeger

The Long-tailed Jaeger was still present today from Kentucky Dam's  
overlooks. It was about 1/2 mile to the south  and spent most of its time  on 
the 
water. It flew several times which allowed for some good diagnostic  looks. 
Unfortunately it never came closer to the dam while I was there between  10:30 
and 
Noon. 
Thanks to Hap Chambers and Robert Dever for finding the bird on Sunday.  Dave 
Roemer and Robert were at the overlook when I arrived and immediately got  me 
on the bird. It's almost cheating to see a life bird that easy-a  rare one at 
that! 
Good luck to those who try to see it-hopefully it will stay a while.
 
On another note, there are 40+ Common Nighthawks flying above the  pedestrian 
walking bridge across the Cumberland River at the Titans stadium in  downtown 
Nashville. The bridge is well lit and the birds look almost white as  they 
feed above the bridge after dark.
