[TN-Bird] Loggerhead Shrike near Cowan is not alone

The shrike seen frequently this winter on Georgia
Crossing near Webb Lane (which is a private drive) 0.3
miles west of Greenhaw Rd. has apparently acquired a
mate. There were 2 shrikes perched within 2m of each
other along the barbed wire fence parallel to GA
Crossing Rd. on the north side this morning.

Maps do not show the little cul-de-sac subdivision
called Hazelwood directly S of this spot. The shrike
was often spotted on the phone lines on either side of
the subdivision this winter.

P. S. My Mac and I have just discovered the glories
of Google Earth, having been consistently frustrated
with other mapping sites, and I am now able to provide
precise coordinates. In this case they are 35 deg 11'
13.31" N, 86 deg 01' 26.19" W. On the other hand,
Google Earth is also unaware of Hazelwood.

It has been my very great fortune to find an incredibly wonderful bird.
