[TN-Bird] Loggerhead Shrike at Kyker

Today, Oct. 31 at 11:00 a.m., we saw one Loggerhead Shrike at Kyker Bottom WMA 
on Garland Road in SW Blount County.  We assume that it is the same bird that 
has been there in prior years.  It was hunting from a small tree about 90 yards 
west of the manager's office/shed.
A dozen Bobwhite flushed near the paved parking lot. Several Wood Ducks and two 
Northern Shovelers flew out of the pond north of the office/shed.
Remember that, beginning tomorrow, Nov. 1, the refuge is closed through Feb. 
14.  We think that it is permissible to bird from the parking lots and 
observation deck.  Please post if that is not correct.
