[TN-Bird] Late (?) white-crowned sparrow

Hello Birders,
 
At abut 8 A.M. today, a white-crowned sparrow appeared on my deck in  
Charlotte Park, West Nashville, Davidson County, and began eating.  It  stayed 
for 
several minutes until a squirrel approached, at which  time it flew to the 
nearby grapevine cover.  It stayed just barely in  sight until the squirrel 
left.  
It came back to the feeding area, some  fifteen feet from where I am sitting, 
and fed some more.  It then flew over  to the water source, looked at it, but 
did not appear to partake.  It flew  off to the west side of my yard, and I 
have not seen it since.
 
I did get one pitiful photo of proof, but isn't this awfully late for a  
white-crowned?  Some of you who keep REAL records out there, please let us  
know.
