Middlebrook Lake
Bristol, Sullivan Co.
14 Feb 2006
The Hooded Merganser population was at 119 birds. I suspect the sharp
decline of these numbers to follow soon at they leave any day now on their
journey north for spring migration. We should watch those numbers carefully
at Middlebrook Lake and Clear Creek Lake in Bristol, Va. Still had 21
American Coots were in the upper cove at Middlebrook.
