Yesterday (Oct 30) in Tullahoma TN I was in a parking lot tending my baby girl,
when I heard a E Wood PeeWee calling. Disbelieving, I thought I was just
hearing things...it later called again and again with the same interval lapse
between each song as a E Wood PeeWee usually does.
Also, had my first white-throated sparrow of that county singing, as well,
along with the E Towhee. White-throats have yet to appear at my feeder in
Bedford Co
Other sightings have included the following:
Bedford Co Normandy TN; my home-
Feeder:
Brown Creeper Mon Oct 2nd...again was seen on Oct 14th (International Count Day)
Female Rose-breasted Grosbeak Oct 3rd
Ovenbird Oct 4th
Waterer:
Gray-cheeked Thrush Oct 12th
Hermit Thrush Oct 17th (approx)
Swainson's Thrush October 13th
American Redstarts- both male and female- last week of September
Note- The Swainson's and Gray-Cheeked appeared on the same days for a while and
it was neat to see these and how they differed
Franklin Co- Had White-throated Sparrows at Lake Cheston on Sun Oct 29th and I
am checking on the sparrow possibility we saw at dusk (distinctive chip)
