Yesterday there was a Forster's Tern sitting on a post
out from Crownover's Bluff (take the left (N) at the
T at the end of Lakeview Trail, DeLorme p. 13 at about
B 4.4) yesterday. I don't recall a later one,
although there were 5 in the vicinity of Morris Ferry
Dock just 7-10 days ago.
The Georgia Crossing Rd. Shrike pair were sitting on
the high power line over the field just east of their
presumed nesting trees--Red Cedars along a barbed wird
fence) 0.4 mi W of Greenhaw Rd. Perhaps this was due
to the piece of farm equipment exiting one of the
fields there.
A Grasshopper Sparrow was heard just north of the
nursery on Arnold Farm Rd. (which is parallel to and
just E of US 64 S of GA Crossing Rd).
I did not see or hear a Horned Lark here, although I
have come to expect one there this Spring.

It has been my very great fortune to find an incredibly wonderful bird.
