[TN-Bird] Lark Sparrows; Henry Co.

To go along with the early Sharp-tails that Jeff, Mark, and myself had
at Big Sandy last weekend, Don Manning has seen Lark Sparrows at two of
the locations near his house in Henry Co. that we regularly see them.
These sightings were middle of this week, and are a little earlier than
I was expecting to get the birds. Robinson lists mid-April as the
expected return date, which fits well with my returns the last few
years, but there are 2 March records listed in the TN Checklist prior to
Don's birds this week. I'll be out shortly trying to run these birds
down to see which locations they are returning to this year, anyone who
is interested in these birds, just drop me a  note.

The area the Henslow's were seen last year just north of McKenzie was
cut late last year. From the way it looked a couple of days ago, it will
be a little while before it gains its appeal again.
