[TN-Bird] Kyker Bottom - Maryville, Blount County (10/21)

Kyker Bottom TWRA Refuge - Maryville, Blount County
 

I only had a short time to check on Kyker this afternoon (about one hour of
daylight)  Upon arriving I noticed a huge mass of Black Vultures - Actually
100's circling and roosting in the trees across the main road from the
refuge. (See photo links below)

 

In addition to the vultures I was pleased to see find that the sparrows are
returning.

White-throated Sparrows

Field Sparrows

CHipping Sparrows

 

Hopefully more later this week.
