[TN-Bird] Knoxville; Pellissippi Pkwy pond waterfowl

 

When exiting Pellissippi Pkwy going North at Kingston Pike (across from
Calhoun's restaraunt), look to the left and there is a pond.  On
ThanksgivingDay I observed two male wood ducks, three pairs of gadwalls, a
pair of mallards and a great blue heron.  I parked nearby and walked over to
observe the birds.
