Knox County, pond next to Peninsula Lighthouse, off Baum Drive, west Knox
County, Oct. 28. After coming up empty at the Kingston Steam Plant Sunday I
saw my FOS Hooded Merganser when I drove by the pond near where I work last
evening. A female. Only other birds on the pond were 3 male Mallards and an
all white duck. Walked around this morning and checked out the pond but the
merganser was gone.... replaced by 11 Canada Geese.
