The Knoxville TOS chapter will host the Knoxville CBC on Saturday, 31 Dec 2011. Our count area is centered in the heart of West Knoxville at Kingston Pike and Ebeneezer. It goes west through Farragut, north through Solway and Karns, east through Sequoyah Hills, and south into Louisville in Blount Co. Despite the urban sprawl, there are good areas for birding. We have broken 100 species twice in recent years and just missed with 99 species last year. If you are interested in participating, please contact me (kde@xxxxxxx). If you live in the count area, I encourage you to do a feeder count (similar to the Project Feederwatch counts). Please contact me so I can make sure you are in the count area. As always, I would love to get more folks out owling so let me know if you are interested in that as well. Thanks, Dean Edwards Compiler, Knoxville CBC =================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBER===================== The TN-Bird Net requires you to SIGN YOUR MESSAGE with first and last name, CITY (TOWN) and state abbreviation.
