Yesterday around 11:30 a.m. on a pond in west Knox County I found a male
Redhead duck and 4-5 Canada Geese. No one has turned in a Redhead for the
Knoxville GBBC yet and I didn't stay the required 15 minutes so I won't be
sending it in.
The pond is in the Glen Lake subdivision on Ball Camp Pike, half a mile south
of the light at Amherst and half a mile north of the railroad crossing. I
seldom check this pond as I've never found anything interesting on it before.
