[TN-Bird] Kingfisher on Kingston Pike

Monday afternoon around 3:30 p.m. I was stopped in traffic on eastbound
Kingston Pike in Knoxville (just east of Cedar Bluff Road) when I heard the
unmistakable sound of a belted kingfisher. I looked out my right window in
time to see one fly up from the small creek on the west side of the Lincoln
Mercury dealership and alight on a telephone wire with its catch (brown
tubular looking creature about 2 inches long, resembled a very fat
caterpillar). A nice distraction from the holiday traffic.
